Short version: NeonLock collects nothing. There is no account, no analytics, no tracking, and no server. Everything happens directly between your iPhone and your own Mac over Bluetooth, and no data ever leaves your devices.
Nothing. NeonLock does not collect, store, transmit, sell, or share any personal data. We do not ask you to create an account or sign in.
NeonLock is a remote that locks the screen of your own Mac. Your iPhone sends a lock command over a direct Bluetooth Low Energy link to a companion app running on your Mac (NeonLockMac). This communication is local and device-to-device. It does not pass through the internet, any cloud service, or any server operated by us or a third party.
The app contains no analytics SDKs, no advertising identifiers, and no third-party tracking of any kind. We do not build a profile of you and we have no ability to see how you use the app.
The list of Macs you pair and your settings are stored only on your own device (and, where applicable, synced between the app and its widget on that device). This information is never sent to us.
NeonLock requests Bluetooth access solely to communicate with your paired Mac(s). It is used for no other purpose.
NeonLock is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone, including children.
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
